Photos hold the ability to represent both the thinking and feeling aspects of a person. The meanings behind photographs are based on individual perceptions which are unique – each photo could take on a multiple meanings for different people depending on the interface between the viewer and the image.
ImagEvoke is a set of photocards that we use in our practice with our clients and have found it to be tremendously impactful in opening conversations and dialogues that lead to connection between and with people.
The images presented in the photoset represent images which evoke a certain emotion and reflection by their respective photographers. My wish is that as anyone begins to explore the world behind these images, that they also give a glimpse into their inner worlds – the unspoken thoughts and emotions.
ImagEvoke is now in its 3rd edition due to the overwhelming positive feedback we have received from the people who have used it. In this latest edition, we have increased its ubiquity by including questions that could be useful to provoke thinking and reflection on the back of the cards.
