Darryl CHEN

Senior Consultant | Associate Certified Coach(ACC), ICF | Executive Master(Distinction) in Consulting & Coaching for Change, INSEAD | Coach, INSEAD

Darryl is an experienced leadership consultant working mainly with mid-level to high-level managers in SMEs and MNCs to enable individuals to transition from being a manager to being a leader. His clients include leaders across a broad range of industries such as manufacturing, finance, hospitality and aerospace.

His roles in previous organisations (logistics, manufacturing, and IT services) range from being an internal process consultant to project management to customer-facing roles. These roles have enabled Darryl to develop appropriate and relevant considerations to balance both the “managing business” and “managing people” perspective.

Darryl’s approach towards facilitation and coaching tends to be goal or solutions focused by emphasizing the importance of how his coachees think and feel towards their current situation and their goals. His strength in building relationships means that he is quickly able to establish and hold a safe space for his learners/coachees whilst asking them “brave and bold” questions to challenge and disturb their current frame of reference.

Michael TAYLOR

Senior Consultant | M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Minnesota State University

Michael is a consultant and former business unit leader with global experience in assessing and developing leadership talent. His combination of consulting and business experiences has provided Michael with a unique understanding of how to make leadership development practical and successful. Michael’s passion has been supporting organizations in their leadership challenges during times of change. His approach removes obstacles to learning by addressing the current culture and capabilities of the organization that hold it back. Michael has worked closely with senior leaders at the global, regional, and functional levels to address change. For example, he co-developed a 2-year program to support a transition in leadership and change in business model for a business that was being spun-off of its parent organization. The program focused on nominating new leaders to act as change agents during the period of transition and developed their change management and strategic thinking capabilities. Michael has also developed a 2-year leadership development journey for an IT function of a global pharmaceutical company. The journey aimed to re-ignite passion in leadership and equip all leaders with the ability to move from a localized, siloed organization to a global, matrixed organization after a period of restructuring and lay-offs.
